Proofex 12 — Self-Adhesive Waterproofing Sheet Membrane
Fosroc Proofex 12 is a self-adhesive cold-applied sheet membrane for below-ground waterproofing. Simply peel off the release liner and apply to the prepared concrete surface — no torch or heating required. Factory-manufactured rolls ensure uniform thickness across the entire surface, eliminating thin spots common in manual liquid application. Resistant to aggressive ground salts and chemicals.
Key uses: basement walls and slabs, foundations, retaining walls, tunnels, lift pits, and other below-ground structures requiring reliable waterproofing.
Sheet vs liquid membrane: Proofex 12 is faster on large flat surfaces with guaranteed uniform thickness. Liquid membranes (e.g. Nitoproof) are better for complex shapes and pipe penetrations. Both can be used together — sheet for walls, liquid for detailing.
