About Wah Hing
What kind of company is Wah Hing?
Wah Hing Construction Waterproof Materials Ltd. has been specializing in construction waterproofing and repair materials for over 40 years. We are a Registered Minor Works Contractor (Class II), and an authorized distributor for international brands including Sika, Fosroc, Mapei, Weber and Optimix. Our store is located at 1172 Canton Road, Mong Kok (ground floor).
How is Wah Hing different from general hardware stores?
Wah Hing is a specialist building materials supplier. Our products are sourced directly from manufacturers, ensuring fresh stock and authentic quality. Hardware stores may carry building materials that have been stored for extended periods, potentially affecting product performance. We also have our own in-house engineering team to provide professional construction advice.
Does Wah Hing have an engineering team?
Yes. Wah Hing has its own waterproofing and concrete repair engineering team, registered as a Minor Works Contractor (Class II). We can undertake waterproofing, concrete repair and related projects. Please contact us via WhatsApp for project quotations.
Ordering & Delivery
How do I place an order?
The most convenient way is to enquire and order via WhatsApp. You may also visit our Mong Kok store in person. Most products are typically in stock; selected models may require ordering — please enquire for details.
Can I buy individual units?
Yes, there is no minimum order requirement. Whether you need one bag or several dozen, all purchases are welcome.
What areas do you deliver to?
We deliver throughout Hong Kong, including Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories. Remote areas such as outlying islands may require special arrangements — please contact us via WhatsApp.
How long does delivery take?
In-stock products are generally delivered within 1-2 business days of order placement. For bulk orders or products requiring ordering, delivery times depend on supply availability — we will advise at the time of ordering.
Is there a minimum spend?
There is no minimum spend for in-store collection. Delivery charges may apply depending on order value and location — please contact us via WhatsApp for details.

Can I view products in person before purchasing?
Yes, you are welcome to visit. Most products are on display at our store for you to inspect packaging, weight and colour. If you wish to view a specific product, we recommend confirming availability via WhatsApp beforehand.
Product Warranty & Certificates
Do materials come with a warranty?
All product quality guarantees are provided by the original manufacturer/supplier, not by Wah Hing. Suppliers generally guarantee the product's inherent quality (such as composition and performance specifications), but actual project outcomes depend on multiple factors including substrate condition, application method, weather conditions and curing process. As Wah Hing has no control over the application process, we cannot guarantee final project results. If you need to apply for a supplier warranty for a specific project, please contact us via WhatsApp and we will assist in liaising with the manufacturer.
Are product packaging and website images always identical?
Product packaging may change over time due to supplier factory updates, including packaging design, colours and labelling. Images on our website may not always match the current packaging exactly. If your site requires packaging that is identical to a previously approved batch (e.g. for photographic records or inspection verification), please confirm with us in advance via WhatsApp — we can assist by liaising with the supplier.
Can I obtain product certificates from the supplier?
Yes. Wah Hing can assist in obtaining various certificates provided by suppliers, including product test reports, compliance certificates, potable water approvals, fire resistance certificates and more. All certificates are provided by the suppliers — Wah Hing can assist with the application process, which typically takes several business days. Please contact us via WhatsApp.
Product Enquiries
I'm not sure which material to use — what should I do?
Please contact Wah Hing via WhatsApp and let us know your project type (e.g. bathroom waterproofing, roof leak repair, concrete repair, etc.). We will recommend suitable products based on our experience. You may also refer to our Materials Guide articles for information on different materials and selection guides.
Do products have an expiry date?
All products have a manufacturer's shelf life, typically 12-24 months from production (depending on product type). Wah Hing ensures all products dispatched are within their shelf life. Please enquire if you have questions about a specific product's expiry date.
Can you provide product technical data sheets (TDS)?
Yes. Technical Data Sheets (TDS) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for most products can be obtained via WhatsApp, or downloaded from the respective brand's official website.
