Excellent thermal compatibility with concrete substrates. Tested to Hong Kong Housing Authority Specification (per manufacturer).
Product Overview
Renderoc GP is a ready-to-use blend of dry powders requiring only the site addition of clean water to produce a highly consistent, medium-weight repair mortar for general-purpose concrete and masonry repairs. Based on Portland cement, graded aggregates, special fillers, and chemical additives, modified with anti-desiccation additives for use in all climates. Maintains good handling characteristics while minimising water demand. Exhibits excellent thermal compatibility with concrete, and low water requirement ensures fast strength gain and long-term durability.
Features
High Build Without Formwork — Achieves significant thickness on vertical and overhead surfaces without shuttering, saving time and cost
Low Permeability — Effective barrier against carbon dioxide and chloride ingress, protecting concrete structures
Excellent Bond — Strong adhesion to concrete substrates
No Chloride Admixtures — Will not contribute to reinforcement corrosion
Thermal Compatibility — Well-matched coefficient of thermal expansion with concrete
Hot Climate Suitable — Anti-desiccation modified for good workability in high-temperature environments
Chemical Resistant — Cured mortar resists acid gases, chloride ions, oxygen, and water
Single Component — Just add water for quick and simple preparation
Applications
Concrete Repair — General-purpose concrete patching and maintenance
Masonry Reinstatement — Masonry structure repair and restoration
Vertical and Overhead — Columns, beams, walls, and ceilings (without formwork)
Patch Repair — All types of localised patch repairs
Corrosion Protection — Areas requiring chloride and carbon dioxide resistance
Application Guide
Surface Preparation — Saw-cut repair edges to avoid feathering; remove dust, oil, rust, and unsound material
Steel Priming — Apply Nitoprime Zincrich (WB) anti-corrosion primer to exposed reinforcement
Substrate Priming — Thoroughly soak substrate, then apply Nitobond SBR / cement slurry bond coat
Mixing — Use forced-action mixer or suitable paddle with low-speed drill; free-fall mixers must not be used
Application — Apply by gloved hand or trowel, compacting firmly
Curing — Cure immediately after finishing with Nitobond AR or Concure WB spray membrane
Protective Coating — Completed repairs can be overcoated with Dekguard anti-carbonation coatings
Packaging
25KG bag (single-component pre-blended powder, just add water)
Notes
Not suitable for areas subject to vehicular traffic
Do not use when the temperature is below 5 degrees and falling
Do not mix part bags
Exposure to heavy rainfall before final set may cause surface scour
For multi-layer application, scratch-key intermediate layers and cure with Nitobond AR before repriming
Can be finished with steel, plastic, or wood float, or damp sponge technique
Shelf life of 9 months in original unopened bags stored in dry conditions (per manufacturer)
Wear protective gloves, eye protection, and dust masks during application
