Monoset Primer is a Sika Ronacrete bonding coat and rebar passivation primer. Two-component (liquid + powder), it protects exposed reinforcement and forms an integral bond between Monoset repair materials and substrate concrete. Water-based, high bond strength, low VOC.

Important Notes
- Remove all weak concrete to sound substrate; clean loose rust from exposed rebar
- Cut repair edges to adequate depth to avoid feather edges
- Dampen concrete surface; remove standing water before priming
- Pour liquid into container, slowly add powder, mix with slow-speed drill until uniform
- Rebar: apply first coat, once tacky apply second coat; simultaneously prime concrete surface
- Monoset repair material must be applied while primer is still wet/tacky
- If primer dries completely, cross-hatch and re-coat before proceeding
- Clean tools immediately with water

What if the primer dries?
