Application Method
Substrate Preparation
- Surface must be clean and sound, free of standing water
- Remove dust, laitance, grease, curing compounds, waxes, foreign particles and disintegrated materials
- Concrete: Sandblast or use other approved mechanical methods
- Steel: Blast clean or use equivalent mechanical methods to remove oil, grease, dirt, rust scale and foreign matter
Mixing
Pre-mix each component. Proportion 2 parts Component A to 1 part Component B into a clean pail. Mix thoroughly for 3 minutes with a paddle on low speed (400–600 rpm) drill until uniform in colour. Mix only the quantity that can be used within its pot life.
Application
Apply Sikadur 732 to hardened concrete by brush, roller or broom. Place fresh concrete while the bonding agent is still tacky.
Important Notes

FAQ
What is Sikadur 732 primarily used for?
It is primarily used to bond fresh or plastic concrete to hardened concrete and steel surfaces. It is also suitable for grouting bolts, dowels and pins, and as a structural adhesive for concrete, masonry, metal and wood.
How long is the pot life after mixing?
Approximately 35 minutes at +30°C. Mix with a low-speed mechanical mixer (400–600 rpm) for about 3 minutes until uniform in colour. Only mix the quantity that can be used within the pot life.
Can it be applied to damp surfaces?
The surface may be dry or damp but must be free of standing water. Remove all dust, grease, curing compounds and loose materials before application. Best results are achieved on dry surfaces.
What is the consumption rate?
Typical consumption is 0.3 to 0.8 kg/m², depending on substrate condition.
