Sikalastic 702 — Elastic Polyurea Hybrid Liquid-Applied Roof Waterproofing Membrane
Sikalastic®-702 is a 2-part elastic polyurea hybrid (PU/PUA) liquid-applied waterproofing membrane, part of the SikaRoof® PUR liquid-applied roofing system. It is cold applied in a single layer, self-smoothing, and requires no reinforcement. Once cured, it forms a seamless, highly elastic waterproof layer with approximately 900% elongation at break.

What is the difference between Sikalastic 702 and Sikalastic 680?
Sikalastic 702 is a 2-part polyurea hybrid membrane with ~100% solid content, self-smoothing, designed specifically for roof waterproofing and requiring professional installation. Sikalastic 680 is a 1-part moisture-curing polyurethane membrane suitable for a wider range of applications (roofs, basements, water tanks) and more accessible for general contractors.
Can Sikalastic 702 be left exposed?
Yes. It is designed for fully exposed flat roof applications and is root resistant. Prolonged UV exposure may cause slight discolouration; an aliphatic topcoat (Sikalastic®-701) can be applied within 7 days for additional UV protection.
How long does Sikalastic 702 take to cure?
At +20°C and ~50% relative humidity, it becomes rain resistant in about 2 hours, can withstand foot traffic after about 6 hours, and reaches full cure in approximately 24 hours.
