EMFIMASTIC PU 25 – High-Elasticity Polyurethane Sealant

EMFIMASTIC PU 25 is a single-component, moisture-curing polyurethane-based elastic sealant that forms a long-lasting, flexible seal upon exposure to atmospheric moisture. It bonds excellently to a wide range of common construction materials, including concrete, wood, stone, aluminum alloy, ceramics, and masonry, without the need for a primer, thus enhancing application efficiency.

Key performance features include an outstanding elongation capacity of over 600%, excellent tear resistance, and superior weathering and aging durability. It can withstand thermal expansion and contraction as well as structural movement without cracking, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor joints. The product displays excellent UV and chemical resistance, making it well-suited to Hong Kong’s humid and variable climate. After curing, the surface can be coated with water-based paints, facilitating finishing and decoration.

EMFIMASTIC PU 25 complies with major international standards such as ISO 11600 F 25 HM and ASTM C920 Class 25, ensuring excellent environmental adaptability and safety. Certain color variants are NSF certified for potable cold water contact. It is suitable for use in a wide temperature range from 5°C to 35°C, matching diverse project requirements.
