Product Overview

Trafficguard UR150 is a multi-layer polyurethane flooring system comprising a primer, flexible topcoat and wear course. All components are applied in the liquid phase and react chemically to form a tough, flexible, waterproof protective surface. Provides good elongation and tensile strength to bridge dynamic cracks, with excellent recovery from elongation. High-friction anti-slip surface, passes surface spread of flame testing (per manufacturer). Available in a range of standard colours with traffic marking line paint available.

Application Guidelines

• Surface preparation — new concrete must be fully cured; surfaces must be clean, dry, free from laitance, oil and curing compounds
• Defect repair — blow holes and undulations must be repaired with appropriate product
• Primer application — apply primer then broadcast anti-slip grains while wet; allow to dry then remove excess
• Topcoat application — apply by short-haired lambswool roller
• Wear course — apply thin wear course over topcoat
• Trafficking times — allow specified cure periods before foot traffic and vehicle traffic respectively

Notes

• Do not apply to surfaces with rising damp or excessive humidity
• Do not apply when rain is imminent or temperatures are expected to drop too low
• Primer and wear course are flammable — keep away from naked flames
• Wear appropriate protective equipment and ensure adequate ventilation
• Shelf life: twelve months in warehouse conditions (per manufacturer)

How does UR150 differ from regular car park floor paint?

UR150 is a complete multi-layer polyurethane deck system (primer + anti-slip layer + topcoat + wear course), not a single coating. The system provides crack bridging, seamless waterproofing, chemical resistance and high skid resistance, purpose-designed for trafficked areas. Standard floor paints are typically single coatings that cannot match the durability and waterproofing performance.

Can it be used on car park ramps?

Yes. UR150 is suitable for all car park zones including ramps. Anti-slip grains embedded in the primer layer provide a high coefficient of friction for safe vehicle and pedestrian movement on slopes.
