How to Choose?

Select based on application environment and joint width:

• General indoor bathroom, kitchen → Polymer cement grout (CG2WA rated), e.g. Mapei Ultracolor Plus, Optimix TG410E
• Narrow joints (1-6mm) → Narrow joint grout, e.g. Weber Webergrout Fine
• Pools, water tanks, laboratories → Epoxy grout, e.g. Mapei Kerapoxy, Weber Weberepox Easy
• Ready-to-use (no mixing) → Mapei Flexcolor ready-mixed grout

Is Tile Grout Waterproof?

Quality polymer grout provides good water resistance. Products meeting BS EN 13888 CG2WA standard (e.g. Ultracolor Plus, TG410E) have low water absorption and high abrasion resistance. For full waterproofing (e.g. pools under constant submersion), use epoxy grout.

Colour Selection

Tile grout is available in a wide range of colours. Mapei Ultracolor Plus offers over 40 colours. Matching colours create a unified look; contrasting colours highlight tile patterns; darker shades are more stain-resistant.
