Preco EAC-S — Anti-Carbonation Protective Coating
Fosroc Preco EAC-S is an acrylic anti-carbonation coating that protects concrete structures by blocking the penetration of CO2 and chloride ions — the two main causes of reinforcement corrosion. Its transparent/semi-transparent formula preserves the original concrete appearance while providing breathable protection that allows water vapour to escape but prevents liquid water ingress. UV and weather resistant.
Key uses: building facades, exposed concrete structures, bridges, flyovers, coastal structures, car park concrete, new and existing concrete protection.
Preco EAC-S vs Dekguard: Preco EAC-S is transparent, preserving the concrete appearance. Dekguard E200 is an opaque white elastic coating with crack-bridging ability. Both offer anti-carbonation and chloride protection.
