Summary:

Renderoc S is a Fosroc structural-grade polymer-modified concrete reinstatement mortar. Single component — just add water. Delivers high compressive strength and excellent abrasion resistance. Extremely low permeability blocks carbon dioxide and chlorides to protect embedded reinforcement. Can be applied by hand or spray for large-area and localised concrete repairs. BBA certified and approved for contact with potable water (per manufacturer).

Product Overview

Renderoc S is a structural-grade concrete repair mortar supplied as a pre-blended dry powder of Portland cement, graded aggregates, special fillers and chemical additives. Polymer-modified for good handling characteristics and reduced water demand, it only requires the addition of clean water to produce a highly consistent, high-strength repair mortar. The hardened product exhibits excellent thermal compatibility with concrete and outstanding water-repellent properties, with rapid strength gain for long-term durability.

Features

  • High compressive strength and abrasion resistance — suitable for locations with strict strength and wear requirements
  • Extremely low permeability — maximum protection against carbon dioxide and chloride ingress
  • Excellent bond — strong adhesion to the concrete substrate
  • Shrinkage compensation — reduces cracking risk
  • Flexible application — apply by hand, trowel, or wet/dry spray for efficient large-area work
  • Single-component pre-blend — just add water; pre-bagged to eliminate site-batching variations
  • Chloride-free — will not accelerate reinforcement corrosion
  • Non-combustible — passes non-combustibility testing (per manufacturer)

Applications

  • Large-area structural concrete reinstatement
  • Localised patch repairs
  • Locations requiring high compressive strength
  • Concrete surfaces needing good abrasion resistance
  • Environments exposed to chloride and carbonation attack
  • Vertical and horizontal concrete repairs

Certifications

  • British Board of Agrement (BBA) Certificate No. 91/2582 (per manufacturer)
  • Approved for contact with potable water per BS6920 (per manufacturer)

Application Guidelines

  • Surface preparation — saw-cut repair edges to avoid feather-edging; remove dust, oil, rust and unsound material
  • Steel priming — apply Nitoprime Zincrich (WB) to exposed reinforcement
  • Substrate priming — apply Nitobond SBR / cement slurry bond coat; apply mortar while coat is tacky
  • Mixing — use a forced-action mixer; add water per product data sheet and mix to full homogeneity
  • Application — compact by hand or trowel, or apply by spray; observe minimum and maximum thickness limits
  • Curing — cure immediately after finishing; Nitobond AR or Concure WB spray curing recommended

Packaging

25 kg bag

Notes

  • Alkaline formulation — wear appropriate protective equipment during application
  • Do not apply when temperature is low and falling
  • Do not mix part bags
  • Completed repairs may be overcoated with Dekguard anti-carbonation protective coatings for enhanced protection
  • Shelf life: twelve months in original unopened bags stored in dry conditions (per manufacturer)
  • For detailed application methods, coverage rates and technical parameters, refer to the official product data sheet

FAQ

How does Renderoc S differ from GP / HB series?

Renderoc S is a structural-grade mortar with higher compressive strength and abrasion resistance, suited for locations with strict strength requirements. GP is a general-purpose repair mortar, while HB series (e.g. HB25, HB40) are lightweight high-build formulations. Select the appropriate product based on engineering requirements, or contact us via WhatsApp.

Can it be spray-applied?

Yes. Renderoc S supports both wet and dry spray application for efficient large-area repairs. Spray-applied repairs also deliver denser compaction and enhanced substrate bond. Refer to the official spray application guide for equipment and operating details.

How much does it cost?
