WB Primer — Water-Based Epoxy Primer
Fosroc WB Primer is a two-component water-based epoxy primer for sealing concrete substrates and enhancing adhesion of liquid-applied waterproofing membranes such as Nitoproof 600PF. The water-based, low-VOC formula makes it suitable for indoor use and poorly ventilated areas where solvent-based primers are impractical. Effectively seals concrete pores to prevent outgassing and bubble formation in the subsequent membrane layer.
Key uses: substrate preparation before Nitoproof 600PF, concrete pore sealing, indoor waterproofing projects, rooftop and terrace waterproofing preparation.
WB Primer vs Primer 20: WB Primer is water-based with low VOC for indoor and confined spaces. Primer 20 is solvent-based epoxy with stronger sealing performance for outdoor use. Choose based on ventilation conditions and environmental requirements.
