Sika Antisol-128

Summary:

Sika Antisol-128 is a ready-to-use, clear polymeric emulsion concrete curing compound (formerly MKure 128). Applied to freshly placed concrete to form an efficient curing membrane. Non-yellowing, non-staining. Coverage approx. 6-12 m²/L, supplied in 25 kg drums.

Product Overview

Sika Antisol-128 is a ready-to-use, clear membrane curing compound based on selected polymeric emulsion. When applied to freshly placed concrete surfaces, it provides an efficient curing membrane with excellent non-yellowing properties. Effectively retains moisture in mortar and concrete, facilitating more efficient cement hydration for greater strength and superior wear resistance.

Features

  • Greater moisture retention in mortar and concrete for efficient cement hydration
  • Enhanced strength and superior wear resistance
  • Non-staining, suitable for exposed architectural concrete
  • Available with fugitive dye for easy identification of treated areas
  • Ready to use without dilution

Applications

  • Curing all general-purpose freshly placed concrete and mortar
  • Both indoor and outdoor use
  • Concrete floors
  • Exposed architectural concrete

FAQ

Is Sika Antisol-128 a primer?

No. Sika Antisol-128 is a concrete curing compound applied to freshly placed concrete to form a curing membrane that retains moisture and promotes hydration. It serves a different function from primers or bonding agents.

When should the curing compound be applied?

After the final finishing operation, as soon as the concrete surface has hardened sufficiently to prevent marring. For formed concrete, apply immediately after striking the formwork. Delaying application until the next day will reduce curing effectiveness due to moisture loss.
