Mapei Mapelastic Smart is a two-component, high-flexibility cementitious waterproofing slurry from Mapei, mixed from a powder and a liquid component. Its fluid consistency allows application by brush, roller or spray, saving time and effort compared with traditional thick trowel-applied mortars. Its high flexibility bridges cracks caused by minor structural movement or shrinkage. Suitable for waterproofing bathrooms, balconies, terraces, swimming pools and basements; it can be applied over clean, sound existing tiles, and ceramic tiles can be laid on top. Complies with EN 1504-2 and EN 14891 standards, certified EC1 Plus (very low emission), and UV resistant.

- European standard certified — complies with EN 1504-2 and EN 14891, and certified EC1 Plus (very low emission)

Notes
- Refer to the official Technical Data Sheet (TDS) for detailed application methods, coverage and technical parameters
- Mix the powder and liquid at the specified ratio, stirring thoroughly with a low-speed electric mixer
- The substrate must be clean, sound and pre-dampened before application (no standing water)
- Expansion joints and structural joints must be treated with dedicated waterproofing tapes
- This is a concealed waterproofing layer; tiles or a finish must be laid over it — not recommended for exposed surface use
- Do not apply in low-temperature conditions; store in a dry environment
