Summary:

Ronafix® is Sika Ronacrete's classic SBR mortar admixture, commonly known as cement additive. When added to cement mortar, it significantly improves waterproofing, bond strength and mechanical strength. Allows thin section application, waterproof and freeze-thaw resistant when cured, suitable for internal and external works.

Ronafix Product Features

Ronafix® is a single-component modified styrene butadiene (SBR) liquid admixture manufactured by Ronacrete, which significantly enhances the physical and chemical properties of cement mortars. Mortars containing Ronafix can be applied in thin sections. When cured, the mortar is waterproof and resistant to freeze-thaw cycles, achieving monolithic adhesion to concrete, brickwork and other substrates. Ronafix is supplied as a milky white liquid, diluted with water at specified ratios before adding to cement mortar. As a leading cement additive product, Ronacrete Ronafix enjoys high recognition in the Hong Kong construction industry.

FAQ

What is the difference between Ronafix and generic cement additives?

Cement additive is a generic term in the Hong Kong construction industry for SBR mortar admixtures. Ronafix is Ronacrete's premium product. Compared to generic alternatives, Ronafix delivers higher compressive and flexural strength, with quality proven over an extensive track record.

Why is Ronafix called "milk water"?

Because Ronafix is a milky white SBR liquid admixture that resembles milk in appearance, it is colloquially known as "milk water" in the industry. To use, mix the milk water (Ronafix) with clean water at the specified ratio, then add to cement mortar.

Is Ronafix waterproof?

Yes. Cement mortar containing Ronafix is waterproof when cured and resistant to freeze-thaw cycles. Per manufacturer data, water vapour permeability is significantly reduced (per manufacturer). Suitable for bathroom waterproof rendering, rooftop waterproofing, basement waterproofing and water tank leak repair.

How do I use Ronafix? What ratios?

Mix Ronafix with clean water at the specified ratio, then add cement and sand. As a primer, mix Ronafix with cement only (no sand) and brush onto substrate. For detailed ratios, refer to product technical data sheet or contact us via WhatsApp.
