Sika-1 is a liquid waterproofing admixture that, when added to mortar or concrete, effectively blocks capillary pores to prevent water penetration and improve impermeability. Suitable for renders, masonry mortar, screeds, reinforced and unreinforced concrete, swimming pools, tunnels, water tanks, manholes and other indoor/outdoor waterproofing applications. Sika-1 — Liquid Waterproofing Mortar Admixture
Sika-1 is a normal-setting liquid waterproofing admixture designed for mortar and concrete. When incorporated into cementitious materials, Sika-1 blocks capillaries and pores to form an effective waterproof barrier against liquid water penetration. The ready-to-use formula disperses easily, contains no chlorides, and is suitable for tropical and hot climate conditions.

Important Notes
- Stir slowly until uniform before use
- Sika-1 should be diluted into the mixing water, stirred slowly until uniform, then added to the mortar/concrete mixer
- Can also be added directly to the mortar/concrete mix, but must ensure thorough mixing
- Follow good concrete practice (including placing and curing)
- Can be used with other Sika products, but compatibility testing is recommended
- Store in original sealed packaging, away from direct sunlight, frost and contamination
