Suitable for parapet walls, external walls, sloped roofs and new plaster surfaces. Seals joints, laps and roofing screws on various roof types. Application Method
Surface Preparation
- Substrate must be clean, sound, and properly cured
- Remove all loose material mechanically; wire brushing recommended
- Iron and steel surfaces must be derusted
Application
- On porous substrates, first coat may be diluted with water as a primer
- Apply first coat of SikaCoat Plus by brush or roller
- Ensure membrane is fully embedded with no air bubbles or wrinkles
- After first coat dries, apply second coat to fully saturate the membrane
- Protect finished surface from rain until fully dried
Notes
- Apply in two or more thin coats; avoid single thick application
- Do not apply if rain is expected
- Avoid ponding water on SikaCoat Plus surface
- Cementitious substrates must be properly cured
- Store sealed in cool dry conditions away from direct sunlight
- Clean uncured material with water; cured material by mechanical means only
