Sikalastic-680 is a one-component, high-elasticity polyurethane liquid waterproofing membrane by Sika. Applied as a liquid, it cures to form a seamless, highly elastic waterproof layer. Fast-drying, abrasion-resistant, low-odour, and applicable at low temperatures. Suitable for rooftops, balconies, bathrooms, basements, water tanks and planters — requires protective overlay.
Sikalastic 680 Features
Sikalastic-680 is a one-component liquid polyurethane waterproofing membrane designed for concrete structures, requiring a protective overlay (screed, tiles or ballast) after curing. It forms a seamless, highly elastic and durable waterproof layer that effectively prevents water penetration and accommodates thermal movement and structural shifts.

Important: Sikalastic-680 is designed for non-exposed use. A protective overlay (screed, tiles, ballast) must be applied over the completed membrane.

Application Notes
- Cannot be used as a trafficked surface — protective overlay required
- Do not apply on damp or wet surfaces
- Do not apply if rain is imminent
- Ensure good ventilation during application
- Allow sufficient drying time before flood testing; drying time is extended in low temperature or high humidity
- Damp substrates require a moisture barrier primer before applying Sikalastic-680
- Bituminous substrates require an isolation primer
- Highly absorbent substrates require priming (Sikafloor-161 / Sikafloor-156)
- Alternate application direction between coats; previous coat must be touch-dry before next coat
- Clean tools immediately with Sika Thinner C; cured material can only be removed mechanically
