Selection guide

  • Optimix SC212: A Flexible Tile Filler for tiled surfaces or associated substrates specified in its technical data. It is not a tile adhesive or waterproofing layer.
  • Optimix SC216: A Fine skimcoat for detailed levelling and subsequent finishes on specified substrates.
  • Optimix SC228: A general skimcoat whose substrate, layer application and finish requirements should be checked in the product data.
  • Optimix SC273: A Putty for Paint for specified pre-paint surface preparation.
  • Other skimcoat ranges: The Weber range also includes base, finish, exterior and flexible tile-filler products, which should be distinguished by individual product name and technical data.

Do not apply one thickness or drying time to every skimcoat product. Substrate preparation, water demand, layer application, sanding, curing and subsequent paint or finish must follow the individual technical data.
