Optimix SC273 is a water-resistant polymer-modified cementitious skimcoat (putty) designed specifically for interior walls and ceilings. Ultra-low VOC, suitable for schools, hospitals, and residential buildings. Replaces traditional putty with a smooth, paint-ready finish.
Product Features
Optimix SC273 Skimcoat is a cement-based polymer-modified formula supplied as a white powder — simply add water and mix to use. Specifically designed as a base layer for paint finishes, it offers excellent water resistance and mould resistance, maintaining stable bond strength even in humid conditions.
SC273 has extremely low Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) content, well below international standard limits, making it suitable for enclosed indoor spaces including school classrooms, hospital wards, and residential bedrooms where air quality requirements are high.
