Mapei Eco Prim Grip

Eco Prim Grip is a ready-to-use bonding primer from Mapei for interior and exterior floors and walls. Once dry, it forms a rough keying surface that helps improve the adhesion of render, smoothing compounds and tile adhesives on suitable substrates.

Applications

• Preparing concrete, brickwork and similar substrates before rendering. Use on substrates such as wood and metal is specifically for cementitious render.
• Preparing existing ceramic, terrazzo and natural stone floors before smoothing or levelling compounds.
• Preparing existing ceramic floors before installing new ceramic tiles or natural stone.

• Our store offers only the 5 kg drum.

Application notes

• Ready to use without dilution. Apply with a roller or brush and allow to dry before applying subsequent materials.
• Do not use on substrates with rising damp or on continuously immersed surfaces.
• Do not use as an adhesion promoter for adhesives or levelling compounds on screeds or power-trowelled concrete. For these applications, use Eco Prim T as directed by the manufacturer.
• The substrate must be clean, dry and well cured. Wear gloves and goggles. Refer to the technical data sheet for application instructions and suitable material combinations.
