Mapei Primer G

Primer G is a water-based synthetic resin primer from Mapei for preparing gypsum and cementitious substrates. It helps improve the adhesion of subsequent materials, regulate absorption and reduce bubbles during self-levelling applications.

Applications

• Priming gypsum surfaces before installing ceramic tiles
• Preparing cementitious or gypsum substrates before smoothing, self-levelling or plastering
• Preparing gypsum walls and other suitable substrates before wallpapering or painting

Packaging

• Our store offers only the 25 kg plastic drum.

Application notes

• Not a waterproofing product. Not recommended for exterior use or substrates with rising damp, and unsuitable for magnesium substrates.
• Dilution depends on the application and substrate. Use undiluted on gypsum before tiling, or before self-levelling or smoothing compounds. On cementitious substrates before self-levelling or smoothing compounds, dilute with water as directed by the manufacturer.
• The substrate must be clean and dry. Avoid excessive application. Refer to the technical data sheet for application instructions and dilution ratios.
