Product Overview

Adesilex PG2 is a two-component structural adhesive composed of epoxy resins, selected fine-grain aggregates, and special additives. When components A and B are mixed, they form a thixotropic paste that can be applied on vertical and overhead surfaces without sagging. The product cures through chemical cross-linking with zero shrinkage, delivering exceptional bond strength and mechanical performance. Adesilex PG2 has a longer working time, making it particularly suitable for use in higher-temperature environments.

Applications

• Structural reinforcement of beams and columns by bonding steel plates or carbon fibre composites (e.g., Carboplate) to concrete
• Non-flexible structural bonding of precast concrete elements
• Sealing before crack injection (injector installation and surface damage repair)
• Repairing large cracks and joint corners in industrial flooring
• Bonding fibre-reinforced cement slabs and pipes
• Waterproofing large joints using TPE strips (e.g., Mapeband TPE)

Important Notes

• Not suitable for sealing flexible joints or joints subject to movement
• Not suitable for shrinkage joints between fresh and hardened concrete
• Not suitable for dirty or crumbling surfaces
• Not suitable for bonding and grouting anti-acid ceramic tiles
• The product generates considerable heat after mixing — apply promptly and do not leave the container unattended
• Substrates must be clean and sound; fresh concrete must be sufficiently cured before application
