Product Overview
Monoprufe® WP is a high performance cold-applied cementitious waterproofing membrane by Sika Ronacrete. It is used in swimming pools, tanks, and basements to contain or exclude water and will accommodate a wide range of structural movement within the substrate. Supplied as a two-component material (powder and liquid), the components are simply mixed at site to form a highly workable coating that can be brushed or roller applied. Monoprufe® WP is designed as an elastomeric waterproof membrane for use under a screed, render, tiling, or tanking system.

Application Notes
- Ambient air temperature must be above 5°C
- Pot life is approximately 80 minutes — use mixed material within this time
- Apply second coat at right angles to the first, after 2 to 4 hours curing
- Avoid application in strong direct sunlight or drying winds
- Do not add water to or re-work material that has begun to set
- Store in undamaged, unopened original packaging at +5°C to 35°C, protected from direct sunlight, moisture, and frost
- Shelf life: 9 months from date of production

What substrates is Monoprufe WP suitable for?
Monoprufe WP is suitable for concrete, brickworks, blocks, and cement render substrates. Surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned of oil, grease, chemical contamination, loose and friable material before application. Dry surfaces should be dampened with clean water without ponding.
Can Monoprufe WP be used for swimming pool waterproofing?
Yes. Monoprufe WP is specifically designed for water-retaining structures including swimming pools, tanks, and ponds. It achieves zero water penetration at 50 m head of water pressure, providing excellent waterproofing performance.
How is Monoprufe WP applied?
Pour all liquid into a clean container and mix with a slow-speed drill and paddle. Slowly add the powder component and mix until lump-free. Apply two coats by brush or roller, with the second coat at right angles to the first, allowing 2 to 4 hours between coats. Each coat uses approximately 1 kg/m².
