Monoset® RXG is a rapid hardening polymer modified waterproof concrete by Sika Ronacrete. This pre-packed concrete is designed for repairing existing floors or laying new floors where waterproofing and speed of strength gain are critical. Manufactured from non-shrink cements, rapid hardening fillers and waterproofing admixtures. Accepts heavy traffic within approximately 2 hours with 28-day compressive strength exceeding 40 MPa. HKCI PCCS-RM Class S certified (fcu ≥ 33 MPa), conforms to Hong Kong Highways Department specification.
Monoset RXG Product Features
Monoset® RXG is a pre-packed polymer modified waterproof concrete supplied as powder and liquid components. Manufactured from a blend of non-shrink cements, rapid hardening fillers and waterproofing admixtures. Achieves a monolithic bond to most cementitious substrates and accepts heavy traffic within two hours of placement. HKCI PCCS-RM Class S certified for repairs to concrete with fcu up to at least 33 MPa.

Notes
- Provide a structurally sound, clean substrate suitable for receiving high-strength concrete. Ensure the surface is free from grease, oil, dirt and other deleterious material.
- Soak substrate with potable water, remove surface water or puddles, then apply Monoset® Primer.
- Mix components using a drill and paddle or mechanical pan mixer close to the area of use. For thickness over 25 mm, up to 20 kg of 5–10 mm aggregate can be added per bag of powder.
- Trowel apply onto wet or tacky primer. Finish with float or trowel. When bedding, the underside of the component must also be primed.
- Do not install at less than 25 mm thickness for vehicle traffic areas.
- SikaFiber® 155 can be added to the mix to enhance flexural strength — consult Sika Technical for details.
- Clean all tools and equipment with clean water immediately after use.

What is the difference between Monoset RXG and Monoset RX?
Monoset® RXG is a waterproof concrete designed for driveways, car parks, roads and other areas subject to heavy traffic, accepting heavy traffic in approximately 2 hours with 2-hour compressive strength exceeding 20 MPa. Monoset® RX is a waterproof mortar for general floor repairs in kitchens, balconies and similar areas, accepting foot traffic in approximately 1 hour. Both are Sika Ronacrete rapid hardening waterproof products.
Can aggregate be added to Monoset RXG?
Yes. For application thickness over 25 mm, up to 20 kg of 5–10 mm aggregate can be added per bag of Monoset® RXG powder, reducing consumption from approximately 60 packs/m³ to approximately 40 packs/m³. SikaFiber® 155 can also be added to enhance flexural strength.
