Product Overview

Monoprufe® WP is a high-performance cold-applied cementitious elastic waterproof membrane manufactured by Sika Ronacrete, designed to prevent ingress or egress of water and accommodate a wide range of structural movements within the substrate. Supplied as a two-component system (powder and liquid), mixed on site to form a highly workable coating that can be applied by brush or roller to prepared substrates. Monoprufe® WP is designed as an elastic waterproof membrane for use beneath mortar beds, renders, tiling or waterproofing systems.

Application Notes

• Ambient temperature must be above minimum requirement during application
• Use mixed material within the pot life
• Apply second coat at right angles to the first, after the first coat has cured
• Avoid application in direct strong sunlight or windy drying conditions
• Do not add water to mixed material or re-stir material that has begun to cure
• Store in undamaged, unopened original packaging, protect from direct sunlight, moisture and frost

What substrates is Monoprufe WP suitable for?

Monoprufe WP is suitable for concrete, brickwork, blockwork and cement render substrates. Before application, thoroughly remove grease, chemical contaminants, loose and friable material. Dry surfaces should be dampened with clean water but must not have standing water.

Can Monoprufe WP be used for swimming pool waterproofing?
