It prevents water infiltration (positive water pressure) and is suitable for bathrooms, toilets and balconies. The HK version is formulated for Hong Kong conditions, with CIC GREEN certification.

SikaTop®-107 Seal HK is a two-part, polymer-modified cementitious waterproofing slurry composed of Part A (liquid polymer and additive) and Part B (portland cement, selected aggregate and admixtures). It is applied to concrete, cementitious rendering, brickwork and blockwork to prevent water infiltration under positive water pressure. The HK version is specifically formulated for Hong Kong climate and application conditions.

Important Notes
- For positive water pressure only — not suitable for negative water pressure
- Not a decorative finish — must be covered with a protective layer (e.g. render or tiles)
- Not a trafficable finish — must be covered with a protective layer before foot traffic
- Substrate must be clean, sound and pre-wetted to saturated surface dry condition — no standing water
- Minimum two coats required — each coat must harden before applying the next
- Do not add water — mix using a forced action mixer or drill with paddle (max. 500 rpm)
- Avoid application in direct sunlight or strong wind
- Protect freshly applied material from direct rain for at least 4 hours
- "Blooming" (white discolouration) may occur after rain or in damp weather — this does not affect waterproofing performance
- Will not bond to surfaces previously treated with water repellent
- Substrate pull-off (tensile adhesive) strength must be > 1 N/mm²
FAQ
Can SikaTop 107 withstand negative water pressure?
No. SikaTop Seal-107 HK is designed for positive water pressure waterproofing only. It is not suitable for negative water pressure scenarios (e.g. basement walls subject to groundwater pressure). Please WhatsApp us for negative water pressure solutions.
How is SikaTop 107 applied?
Mix Part A (liquid) and Part B (powder) at a 1:4 weight ratio using a forced action mixer or drill with paddle (max. 500 rpm) for approximately 3 minutes until uniform and lump-free. Apply to the pre-wetted saturated surface using a stiff brush, roller or spray. Apply a minimum of two coats, with the second coat applied crosswise to the first, after the first coat has hardened. What is the coverage of SikaTop 107?
General bathroom waterproofing uses approx. 1.0 kg/m² per coat, while critical areas use approx. 2.0 kg/m² per coat, with a minimum of two coats. A 25 kg set covers approximately 6–12 m² depending on consumption rate and number of coats.
What is the pot life of SikaTop 107?
The pot life after mixing is approximately 30 minutes at +30°C. Higher temperatures will shorten the pot life. Material must be applied within the pot life — do not use slurry that has begun to harden.
