Features

SikaHyflex-250 Facade is a single-component, moisture-curing low-modulus elastic sealant using Sika i-Cure polyurethane technology. Designed for elastic sealing and weatherproofing of expansion and connection joints in building facades. Its extremely low modulus minimises stress on substrates, making it ideal for EIFS and thin-wall facade systems.

The core advantage is extremely low modulus. Lower modulus means less pull force on substrates — critical for EIFS thin-wall systems where high-modulus sealants could tear the facade panels. Notes

• Paintable after full cure; non-flexible paint systems may crack — compatibility testing recommended
• Not suitable for swimming pools or pool surroundings
• Not suitable for joints under water pressure or permanent immersion
• Not suitable for bituminous substrates, natural rubber, EPDM, or materials that may bleed oils, plasticizers or solvents
• Consult Sika Technical Services before use on natural stone
• Uncured product must not contact alcohol-containing products
• White and light colours may show variation due to chemicals or environmental factors — does not affect performance
